PIXMA TS3522 Error codes E05 and E09

Hi Samuellando! Thanks for posting in the Canon Community Forum. I see that you are unable to print to your PIXMA TS3522 when using your new M3 computer.
I see that you can print from other computers and a phone without an issue. However, when you try to print from your M3, the printer throws an E,0,5 or E,0,9 error. You also mention checking the ink cartridges and you see no issue.
These errors indicate a cartridge issue and protective tape inside the printer. Since this is only happening with your M3, it means that computer is sending information that triggers those errors.
The TS3522 does not require you to install a driver on your Mac computer. It is AirPrint compatible, so you should be able to print from Mac computers, iPhones, and iPads without installing a driver.
If you have not done so, you can try deleting and readding the printer. You can also try restarting your computer (turning it off and back on). To delete and add a new copy of the printer, you can follow these steps:
If your printer is connected through your Wi-Fi network, please do the following:
Click on the Apple icon in the top menu.
Click on SYSTEM SETTINGS.
In the left column of the window, click on PRINTERS AND SCANNERS (may need to scroll down to find it).
Click on the Canon TS3500 series that appears in the list of printers.
Click on the option that deletes or removes the printer.
After the printer is removed from the list, click on ADD PRINTER, SCANNER, OR FAX on the right side of that window.
When the Add printer window opens, click on the Canon TS3500 series.
Click on the ADD button
If your computer is connected with a USB cable, please do the following:
Turn the printer off.
When it has finished turning off, click on the Apple icon in the top menu of your computer screen.
Click on SYSTEM SETTINGS.
In the left column of the window, click on PRINTERS AND SCANNERS (may need to scroll down to find it).
Click on the Canon TS3500 series that appears in the list of printers.
Click on the option that deletes or removes the printer.
After the printer is removed from the list, turn the printer back on and wait for it to finish turning on.
A few minutes after the printer turns on, a new copy of the printer should automatically be added to your computer.
If the printer is not added automatically, click on ADD PRINTER, SCANNER, OR FAX on the right side of that window.
When the Add printer window opens, click on the Canon TS3500 series.
Click on the ADD button
Once the printer is added back, please try printing.
If the errors keep coming back and restarting your computer does not help, and you are using a USB cable for connection please make sure that it is 6 feet long or less. We do not recommend the use of USB adapters or a USB hub or connector. We recommend that the cable be connected directly to a USB port on your computer. If your computer has oval-shaped USB-C ports, I recommend using a cable that has a USB-C connector on one end and a square USB-B end on the other (for the printer).
If you are still having trouble, I recommend contacting Apple. Please let them know that you are able to print from other devices, and the errors only pop up when you use your M3 computer.
I hope this information helps. Thanks again.
