Each episode starts with an anime episode recap, segues into a pretty lengthy discussion of the writing and themes, and then continues on to research pieces about the historical context behind the show, the cast and crew involved, or even just the history of things mentioned in a given episode. I can’t recommend it enough if you have even a passing interest in sci-fi."
