"title": "PSA on WuWa system requirements",
"selftext": "Prefacing that yes I too face the occasional ping spike (to 999) and some stutter when inputting new actions in-game from time to time - with a modern expensive PC rig. We can chalk this down to the game not being optimized to it's fullest and UE4 being slightly heavier (according to what I have read). Servers are also most probably packed.\n\nWhat's annoying is that I am seeing people complaining about performance issues, asking for a fix/help and then providing their PC/Phone specs - which are below what WuWa's MINIMUM system requirements are. \n \nI know and trust my PC to be fine to run WuWa so I did not even bother to find out the minimum/recommended is, but a 1 min google search found me this: \n[https://www.dexerto.com/gaming/wuthering-waves-system-requirements-recommended-pc-ios-android-settings-2092333/](https://www.dexerto.com/gaming/wuthering-waves-system-requirements-recommended-pc-ios-android-settings-2092333/) \n \nAgain, my system is well above the recommended system settings and am still facing some performance issues, but anyone with below the minimum might wanna make sure your system is equipped to MINIMALLY RUN the game before criticizing anything. \n\ninb4: \"my gtx 1050 with 8gb RAM is lagging so hard. kuro is shit for releasing an undeveloped game 1/5 stars\"",

It's just a fact, that the game is terribly optimized - not everyone has thousands of dollars casually lying around to spend on a new pc every few years.",

You can also set the process priority to high in task manager to give a little extra boost if that helps. With that you should be able to run the game 60+"

"body": "Trick is, the *recommended* specs are a joke because of the lack of bump in RAM required. [WuWa will absolutely take system memory utilization above 16GB](https://www.reddit.com/r/WutheringWaves/comments/1cyon4t/you_are_having_stability_problems_because/). Anyone playing the current build on 16GB of system RAM may struggle, depending on what they're using as their pagefile/virtual memory drive."
