"title": "I love this game but base building mechanics definitely need work",
"selftext": "So there are a few things I think become increasingly annoying as you play.\n\nThe first thing is that you can't just \"upgrade\" your structural pieces (floors/walls etc). You have to go in manually and delete stuff piece by piece.\n\nSecondly, I hate how when building, as soon as you place something down, your kicked out of the build mode so when placing walls etc, you have to open the build menu and select the same wall every time you want to place one.\n\nFinally (for now), it sucks that you can't pick things you placed down back up again to replace it.\n\nAll these things combined makes it so that whenever I discover a fatal flaw in my base design that I have to adjust, I would rather just start a whole new game so I don't have to deal with having to disassemble things and take stuff out of boxes, then it weighs too much and I have to transfer piles in halfs or quarters etc. It makes it so you spend like an hour just transporting all your materials outside the area you want to build before you can even start disassembling your house to rebuild it. I would rather just restart on a new world and do it correctly the first time, since that is 100x more fun than having to go through all the pain of transfering stuff etc.\n\nThis is not hate, just some constructive criticism of an otherwise fantastic game that I've already sunk 30+ hours in!\n\nEDIT: It's been brought to my attention that you can keep building continuously on mnk. I'm on controller, however, and haven't found a way to do it on there. If someone knows, please shar it with the class! :)",

And never reading what's on the screen.\n\n\nThen yesterday is played with my grill gamer gf, and she loves to build shit in every game. 2-3 hours in, she says how annoying it is to build.\n\nOh no, I thought she read the buttons that were clearly on display, but even when I told her how to, she said nah. Doesn't work.\n\nAnd then 2 seconds later, oh yeah, it does say right mouse",

{
"body": "Really cheap engagement if you ask me tbh, like, why not find something genuinely interesting or fun to talk about? That'd be more engaging rather than looking like someone who's got the IQ of a sloth. Like a live podcast and a game stream at the same time would be so fun, you can put it on in the background or actively watch and engage.",

"body": "Yeah, I really dislike it as well. Can't stand it and usually only watch a few YouTubers who usually know what they are doing or figure stuff out really fast. \n\n\nBut I'm clearly not a target audience for that kind of streamer, and you aren't either. Doesn't mean people don't like that shit, because they are often extremely popular"
