If im missing something please tell me bcs i rly want to love the game",

"body": "Too bad I did open up and I don’t find that the OP is trying hard enough to immerse themselves in the game trying to find a purpose. Lack of emphathy? My social life is the best and I am good with connecting and networking with others and care for people because I work with people with disabilities. Putting others down? I am putting on realistic suggestions, I did not degrade the OP or anyone else, your reading comprehension probably is not up to par. This game isn’t for the OP after all hence it’s still his/her/their loss because he “expected more” for early access game, but quits at level 17, shows alot about a sense of entitlement the OP holds and does not have any patience. Oh that does sounds like I do have lack of empathy innit? Maybe I do. Good day lol.",

You’re not a piece of shit for wanting more out of an early release game. \n\nId like to see a story or missions added in the future maybe more from the npcs as well. The towns have a whole lot of characters with little meaningful dialogue.\n\nI think its just because its new. Its a great game so far, plenty of room to add on in the future"

"body": "All the commenter arent wrong, but theyre being particularly troll-y bout it. \n\nAt level 30, i too am realizing that theres really only so much to do, its just the same loop over and over:\n1. build base\n2. catch pals\n3. level up\n4. Take on bosses\n5. improve base\n6. repeat steps 2-5 indefinitely\n\nWhat the game does it does really well and im enjoying it, but i can agree that there seems to be some ‘point’ to it all thats missing, and its my only true gripe with it as it stands. As others have stated theres a ton more content planned for updates, so hopefully itll get more filled out in time. Maybe its just not right for you at this time, nothing wrong with that. Can try again later once some more updates have come out.\n\nEDIT (cuz i already know my statement is going to start a fire somewhere): \n\nWhen i say there ‘seems to be no point’ what im meaning to say is theres no story. Theres def character progression, of course, but wheres the motivation besides just beefing up your character? Whats the story behind the pals? Who are these bosses that we’re taking out? What threat do they actually pose to the pals? Or to the character?\n\nI enjoy a game that simply exists to be a game as much as the next person, but i also really enjoy a good story. I feel theres a ton of potential in palworld to have a good story to go along with all the really fun mechanics and it doesnt currently. I know theres the journals but.."

{
"body": "Probably not a game for you there is so much to do bossfights dungeons basebuilding catching over 100 different pals with cool features and a massive world with different bioms not sure what you want more or what you expected from a survival / collection game."

{
"body": "OP there isn't much content even at 50. The game is mostly a design concept currently. Most people are still in the honeymoon phase and full of copium. There's only a handful of Boss fights, a bunch of woldbosses/alpha's which aren't really that special (slightly bigger and barely higher stats), 4 terrain types really lava, desert, forest and snow. Yes there are quite a few pals but most you'll never use as everything can learn everything. \n\nYou can spend all the time you want base building but with how bad the AI in a base is you don't really want to. \n\nThe game has potential but it has a lot of bugs and fixes that are needed which will only make an actual content update take that much longer. \n\nAlso OP just don't bother with public servers there will be nothing but trolls. A flight pal and a handful of rockets and POOF there goes your working pals and base. Rockets currently do way too much damage and the palbox just needs 1 rocket for F's sake."
},
{
"body": "Not sure why people are being mean to you. I guess thats just how the internet works. Anyway, there is a lot of the content presented; dungeons, bosses, pals to catch, statues, eggs, breeding, base building…if none if that appeals to you, theres no new hidden mechanics or drastic changes at later levels. Might just not be a game for you."

"body": "I understand what your saying. Correct me if I'm wrong but you mean it as in your level 17 and you knows there's more to do, but technically it's just more of the same.\nLike, instead of a wood castle you build a stone or iron one.\nInstead of fighting level 15 monsters your fighting level 20 but you don't really change much. it feels a lot of the same.\n\n\n Right now the game is really based around base building and catching/breeding pals. \nIf getting the all the pals and breeding the different kinds for traits+building a base was interesting to you then even right now there's quite a large ammpunt of content. But I could see how that could feel \n\"same-ey\" so to speak depending on what you like. \n\n\n The multiplayer is where it will shine for most people with that mentality because it will bring dynamic player made fights and encounters and such. Causing you to change tactics on fight or in the world, pal comps, base strategy, etc. I know right now there are some hacker problems but you should definitely look into some severs to play in. Takes the monotony out of a lot of the stuff that feels the same.\n\n\n If your wanting a different kind of depth to the game (like big raid content, specialized dungeons, etc.) Then you will want to wait and come back to it later. They have a lot of content planned. ",

Find a boss at 28 with 69000 hp, then you can’t leave the fight and have to die.\n\nReally wanted to like this game but it needs a surety story and some guidance to bind it together.\n\nAnother bug bear of mine is it is impossible to unlock all the technology, soo if you play solo your shafted."
