"title": "What happens to your current/old worlds when Palworld releases big updates?",
"selftext": "I just started playing Palworld about two days ago but heard that the Palworld developers just released a big update back in June with a new island and more pals. What happens to your current worlds when they do these updates? Do they get the new update materials as well, or do they just stay as they are and you have to make a new world to get the new update features? ",

It works for that game but I think it would suck for this one. I would rather not make a new world every major update considering how long it takes to complete things in this game and the fact that there's not a ton of replay value in the form of procedural generation or something like that yet."

But so far nothing has been game breaking or forcing you to make a new world. Might be big terrain etc updates later though",

As long as it's not a 1:1 copy of design it's all fair game."
