"selftext": "Wanted to point this out even more just in case devs are still not aware.\n\nLook 2042 isn't so bad \"now\" it's very polished as today but still a inferior version because what we all know missing features, specialists, maps etc.... We all know that, BF games get better over time obviously.\n\nIt's been talked a thousand times but i really wish they get Crossplay right for the next game, either remove it entirely of make it console only and put PC apart, anyways pc is where most people play this type of games they won't be running out of players ever, and it's really unfair for console users as always.\n\nAnd the excuse of 'duh you can't diable it on the options' no, it doesn't work, it was so forced and bugged since the beginning that there's no way you can convince the entire community at this point to turn it off, the damage has been already being made and you cant find any games with CP off on console, literally.\n\nIt's one of the main reasons me and many people on console don't play 2042 anymore if not the only reason not to. And I've already spend 500+ hours on this one and bought skins and things because i love battlefield but we can't play it like this, plain and simple.\n\nA true deal or break.",

"body": "I mean…I kind of agree actually. When I play against pc players and I’m on my series x, the experience is extremely frustrating and not fun at all. I’m getting one shotted in the head from across the map by lmg’s constantly, getting smoked by dudes that I had the drop on, it’s like they turn a 180 instantly and headshot me after I’ve sunk several rounds into their backs. I usually get maybe 5 kills and 15-20 deaths. \n\nThen when I switch over to the Xbox one disc and play only against console players, it’s soooo much more balanced and waaay more fun.",

"body": "Id imagine netcode gets really fucky console side when playing against pc, that and peoples cracked out mouse speeds compared to analog sticks. One of the biggest reasons crossplay always left a bad taste in my mouth, the two experiences aren’t similar enough to merge"

"body": "As a PC only player I would much prefer to play with only people playing on PC for the challenge of a level playing field but when I turn off cross play I can't find games nearly as easy as I can with it on. I totally support removing it in the future."

"body": "You use a whole arm to aim. Console uses a finger. It’s not the matter of sucking. Look at rainbow 6. A console player can get 20 kills in a game. A pc player gets thrown in there (which there is a glitch where it happens. And the pc player absolutely destroys The lobby. I’m pretty sure every pc player knows they have an advantage when it comes to aim.",

PC aim \"advantage\" is just copium\n\nThe strongest argument they have is most cheaters come from PC but anyone saying PC makes you better at aiming is a fool. My squad is all PC who came from console and we all play at about the same skill level as before",

"body": "Then your squad is just shit at MKB. The aim assist is very weak in this game and doesnt make up for the fact that MKB is so much easier. Recoil control is easiest on mouse since you only have to pull your mouse a bit down.",

"body": "They already have some measures. First shot recoil is noticeably higher on PC. I'm jealous of how little recoil burst fire guns and marksman rifles have on console. They have basically no recoil in the clips my friend sends me. There's also aim assist. This makes it much easier to aim close to medium range on console. You would have to aim for headshots on PC to have an advantage. Which leaves long range, where I agree PC has an advantage."

"body": "I remember the days when people wanted more people to play with, and to play with friends on other devices, now people just want to be restricted to there own ecosystem (I'm a fan of crossplay for some games, but pvp shooters I'm not) \n\n\nHaving the ability to opt in or out of crossplay groups should be a thing in all games imo."

I can get a good amount of kills in each match, and i even got to be the player with most eliminations a couple times.\n\nWhenever i get killed, its mostly my fault (lack of map knowledge, rushing, not hearing footsteps, etc)",

"body": "Crossplay is good and I don't have a issue with pc players until they start cheating like how bfs are filled with cheaters on steam with bf1 4 and 5. As long as there's a stable and good anticheat I see nothing wrong. I've played with keyboard and mouse and I never understood why console players complain about it. There's numerous times I've been better than a k&m player with a controller. Also Idk I've been playing 2042 since day 1 and I don't see pc cheaters like I do with the older titles on steam. So 2042 is a calm, relaxing experience for me lol"

"body": "Agreed. Been saying this for a while now. The difference in playing with pc vs console players is huge. \n\nI just end up playing with the old Gen game on my ps5 where the controller feedback, player movements and graphics aren’t that great."

"body": "Honestly I’ve just been playing this game for a month and after a few days of shitty games like you described i downloaded the Xbox one version that came with the SX edition and have been having SO much more fun. The rendering isn’t that great but it’s not game breaking. The fun had in games levels it out. \nThey 100% need to keep it console only next game."

Then if the game dies on pc we can throw on a controller and keep playing. Kick players who disconnect the servers input type."
