Does Aftermath Analyst's ability to return all land from your GY able to pull out double face land like Sink into the stupor, Revitalizing Repast or Boggart Trawler?\n\nI think not because they have the characteristic of the front side, but seeing that Crucibles of World allows for it gives me hope that maybe I'm wrong.",

      "body": "You can access the back side of a MDFC only if you're **playing** or **casting** that card (and the side fits the text; you can't cast lands, for example).\n\nFor any other action, like putting on returning or targeting, the effect will only consider the front side.\n\nSo, the MDFCs work with Crucible of Worlds, because it has you *play* lands; you can play them as the land side. But they don't work with Analyst because it is returning land cards, so it sees them as their nonland front side and so they are skipped.\n\nIn particular, if you have a pathway (land/land MDFC) like Cragcrown/Timbercrown, Analyst will always return it front face up."
