"selftext": "I mean i know that the Source of all living Matter created her Titan and he Healed her but why did she had to make the titans after that\n\nI know that she made the Titan powers but why did she make it that way to have to svulpt them in paths \n\nMaybe because she was a Slave to Fritz and she wanted to serve to him forever so that was her way of doing it \n\nBut Hallucigenia can do it Him/herself(?) \nI ques that she made it that when she Sculpts the Titans or The Healing of the Shifters she sends like a Command/ Message from the Paths to Hallucigenia to create or heal the Titan shifters, but that was not needed and the Titan shifters could do It without ymir sculpting Them( i think)\n\nBut at the same time she wanted to be free ?",

"body": "The Source of All Living Matter granted her the power to save herself from death in that moment like Zeke says in his conversation with Armin in the Final Chapters Part 2. \nIt was only when she lost the will to live that the SoALM needs to again grant her power to survive (to keep itself alive), the 2nd time it grants her an escape from death, and time, and a way to continue serving the King's Will.\n\nThe Power of the Titans changed over time within those first 13 years, as well in the next 13 years when her daughters have the power. The power's changes seem to reflect the sort of influence people like King Fritz had on Ymir. \nFor example;\n\n* Ymir's power wasn't passed on until her daughters were forced to eat her corpse.\n* The 9 Titans weren't a part of the original power until the Eldians tried to keep splitting her power further and further and it apparently couldnt split any further than 9 people.\n* The 13 year life limit didn't happen until Ymir died and the power of her children was limited by that.\n* The Paths didnt exist until Ymir \"died\" and the SoALM helped her escape reality into a dream outside of time that protected her from death.\n* The connections to the Subjects of Ymir didn't start until Fritz made Ymir's bloodline continue so that all the descendants were also infected with the parasite.\n\nYmir also may have been technically creating the Titan body for herself from The Paths in the future after it is created when she dies, simply because it exists outside of linear time.\n\n**So it's either timey wimey nonsense with Ymir sculpting the body for herself from The Paths from outside of time, or its simply the Source of All Living Matter providing for the needs Ymir had whenever her life was in danger.**\n\nYmir's deepest desire that keep her pushing on to survive was for love and connection. She was unable to give those up even when she took a spear for King Fritz and lost the will to live when he showed nothing but contempt for her despite protecting him. The SoALM was using its primordial magical powers to enable Ymir to continue existing to primarily keep its host alive so it can continue living, but also so Ymir could continue pushing forward towards that love and connection she wanted so badly that she couldn't stop even in death.\n\nThe Paths are a bastardization of her desires, twisted into a form that keeps her \"alive\". The Powers of the Titans are extensions of her unwillingness to give up on those things she desired.",

Time is deterministic in AoT; it does not mean that she couldn't travel back and change aspects of the past to reach the ending, the pre-determined ending."

"body": "I think, it is cuz the ability was granted to her and she alone could have that power, you know, sell your soul to devil sort of stuff, but due to her love for King Shit, she decided to share her power down her lineage and instead take the task of creating titans are healing shifter upon herself."

"body": "The entire reason why the titan power ends up being passed down through Ymir's descendants is because of Fritz's orders for his daughters and his line to continue to pass down the titan power so that his empire could continue forever. In the beginning after Ymir \"died\" it was just her and sand in the paths, but the coordinate appears only once her daughters were made to inherit her titan power on Fritz's orders and then keep the cycle going by an endless chain of children eating their parents.\n\nKsaver proposed a theory that all of the subjects of Ymir(her descendants) were as if they were all connected to Ymir like parts of her own body, and Ymir was the originator. It's possible that as the originator, her power worked differently than all those that came after herself so that Ymir did not need anyone to build her own titan, and there being no coordinate in the paths before her daughters inherited the power would also mean that how Ymir summoned the titan power was also different from how her descendants did it by making Ymir build them with paths sand."

"body": "Honestly, I actually like the idea that the Titan Powers & Paths were created the moment Ymir, the first person to have all 9 Titans, obviously including the FT & AT, came in contact with the magic parasite. From the very beginning, all the memories of the future could have been \"downloaded\" to the past, all from that very last moment, when Eren, the last and probably the only other person to have the FT & AT at the same time, was killed by Mikasa.\n\nIt makes perfect sense to me, Eren is able to experience any moment in the past he wants, and at some point, he wondered what happened to Ymir in the first 13 years, and eventually he came to realize, just like he realized he was the one to control Dina, that it must be him who did the legwork for Ymir while she was a Titan. After all, if it's not him, then who else could it be?\n\nMaybe they forced Zeke to do it, or enslaved other people inside the path to do so, but I don't think Eren would be enslaving anyone, and I just like the idea that it could have been him.\n\nI like to think that that's the reason Ymir's titan looks so badass, because it was created by a \"kid\", kinda like how Edward Eric also created lots of alchemy with edgy skulls."
