I've been playing very passively for a few years, picking it up for a week or two then dropping it again for months, but decided I wanted to get into it more and wanted to start with a gem farm.\n\nBecause of this I actually have a decent bit of favour, champs, and familiars alrdy (Ilvls aren't that good though) \n\nAny champs I don't have I can get with time gate pieces probably (not sure if there's another use for them but I was hoarding them so I have just under 200)\n\nI have at least e28 favour with all but 2 (helm/e24, and celestian/e21) sorry for any confusion :s",

Can help partialy with lack of familiars and with weak hew laezel will proc speed skill often - no need for buying feats - if You relly like her then mabe this 12,5k cost +40% to speed skill\n\n3rd slot nahara and bbeg - both gives quest requirement reduction - for begining nahara since she dont need any ilvls or feats - one problem that she need some time (attacking) to unlock full speed skill potential\n\n4th sentry another reductor useful - for now dont invets - hew will be priority\n\n5th briv - dont use Him for now (also xander but You will probabl never use Him :) )\n\n6th shandie - dash 10 sec proc speed feat is nice but its really usefull when party is completing zones with one kill\n\n7. Minsc in theor but dont bother with His \"speed skill\" for now\n\n8. Hew - buy both speed skill feats 40&80% =62500 gems and feed them with ilvls until caping speed skill item (4th slot) - \n\n10. Virgil another multiplying quest item drops like hew but at this point dont invest high cost/speed increase not usefull at this pint of game. Havilar - with first fiend from her ulti cycle (appears with hero leveling - dont use ulti) all fiend kills/drops count x2 for zone quest and mad wizard have i think 16-18 zones where it will be usefull\n\n12 Vi is season champion - try her since - i like her speed skill for great reduction time loss in boss zones - but she wasnt even consider speed champ by most players.\n\nWith familiar number it will be easier to advice something less obvious",

General things related to speed \n\n\\- if You can complete 2nd an 3rd split the party\n\n\\- if You have champion named Nordom and Fast Core isnt max level - Nordom should travel in fast core part until it will be max level (but most important is lvl 10 with node making game speed increase up to +50%\n\nif You dont have geared/leveled hew, sentry, virgil with addition of nahara/bbge then farm on mad Wizard - many spawners helps with faster kiling more then 1-2 mobs + fiends for havilar and its in first campaign so probably higher then average favor. If Party can reliably finish zones with 1-2 kills then change for Cursed Farm. For Briv farming there are other options but it depends on jump chance.\n\nFor farming BG party (not active) You can use Cursed Farm with patron active (will help with patron weekly)- one familiar on field, one on click dmg and one on champion leveling - priority, if You have them: Torogar, Zorbu, Dhani or not used in speed team NAhara - all of them have skills that gather stacks during runs but dont ever lose them. \n\nFor seson milestone and weekl quests You can often use bg party with formation constructed for that purpouse (but some quests in BG will progress slow or not at all)",

If You have potion of polish use it on that item, if not You will recive one for jim dismantle since we recive code for his shiny on @ target is to cap 4th item - You need 2501 for epic or 1615 for epic with shiny= he also have 10% game speed feat but i dont know cos if 50k buy shandie first\n\n10 virgil no ilvls feat is from gold chest 1st spec\n\n12 vi - he has season so will have some levels - she is in partr fastboss zone waves but i cant test how this skill works on lower item levels after change - simply make few times boss zone testing with and without vi - waves in boss zone are larger then normal and You have do observe if her skill speeds up 2nd mob in wave or maybe 2nd 3rd, 4th and 5th one - \n\nthat leaves 1 free slot - nordom or with fast core lvl 15 gazrick for virgil speed skill and gold to make run longer\n\nmad wizard gem farm runs should reset in highest zone click dmg will be enough and her number is right with equation =x\\*50 +30 for example 180 is 3\\*50+30so if with click dmg You reach max zone 207 then reset in zone 180 - reason zone 20-30 are like sprinting couse of spawners and fast transitions",

We can always save some bounty contracts for few events if we know 2 months from now there will be for example briv event- those epic we will earn with high level patron variants since we have now many heroes always available for specific campaigns/patrons."

Using shandie, BEGG, sentry and widdle are secondary characters that you want in your party as well due to reducing zone costs and increasing completion rate. I would spend your gems on getting familiars, since they're pretty essential in speeding up everything. From there, maxing out shandie's red-shift, and then working on briv is what I ended up doing.\n\nWorking on setting up for using briv is something I'll leave for someone else to explain better, but it's a pain in the ass to run scriptless compared to running a script and much much slower. \n\nIf you're not going to be utilizing briv (due to not having perfect jumps or whatever) go to varja varient and work on farming up on The Mad wizard.\n\nI haven't used laezel in my speed formations, but she might be a better option instead of widdle for mad wizard, so I think that might be worth investigating.\n\nHonorable mention goes to deekin and the rivals waterdeep crew.",

To get briv going, you need to heavily invest contracts as well as devote time to setting up a team that can make briv's steelstacks build up before doing a run reset. There's also the issue of having imperfect jumps on him, it's why you'll see people refer to 1j 2j 3j 4j etc, the amount of zones jumped. 1j and 4j are the biggest breakpoints on him. 1j lets you skip shitty bosses in freeplays and 4j lets you skip entire brackets. It's a pain to get him moving, but the amount of gems you get when you get it going is substantial. Like literally hundreds of thousands of gems per day with a 4j."

The amount of gems is staggering! Scripting really needs to be in an open game in the foreground though. \n-200 TG pieces gets you a lot of Champs! If you're on Steam there's free Season Champs on Monday. \n-Split the Party again so you have 3 or even 4 parties going, if there's Cores for them. Put each of the Patrons on 1 party and that gets you a fair bit of Patron points too, without needing to check in much. \n-I like Melf for speed, Sentry's good and Nahara does well in either type of gem farm.
