Some beginner questions.

Hello, I just started playing this game and I have some questions, I hope someone can help me:1. Is there any negative effect from breaking the line, except that the fish escapes?2. How to see if items are wearing out? I read that hooks are wear out but haven't experienced it yet.3. What is the difference between a spinning and a casting reel? 4. What is the default drag for ice fishing? I use 50 now, with my beginner equipment, but have no idea what it was on default, since I accidently changed it.Also, is there any good guide/tutorial (video) where I can learn what equipment to buy next? I don't know much about irl fishing, so it would be nice to have some tips on how to progress and continue. Kind regards, Marvin.
