I don't think Sony will take on Tencent, it was easier for Nintendo to take on Palworld, but even Nintendo didn't take on Genshin for copying BOTW.
This all seems legally distinct enough. There’s no one art element you can point to and say ‘plagiarised’ even if all the elements combined deliberately scream ‘Horizon’. Gameloft got away with ‘legally distinct’ on it’s mobile games designed to be evocative of popular console games for years, as long as the work is your own you can be pretty close without infringing on copyright.
It’s just a real shame to have talented art staff making cool stuff but have it forever tainted by the ‘Horizon at home’ art direction.

Surprisingly, this has been accused of ripping off Sony’s Horizon.

The jump attack and "stance break" animations are straight out of Elden Ring, lol.

Like Necro said:
Palworld: "Artistic freedom"
Light of Motiram: "Disgusting copy of Horizon, Sony should sue...".

to break the norm here, I think both this and palworld suck ass and should not exist because of their very very very obvious plagiarism :3

Also, Motiram just sounds like such a clunky word to say. None of the consonants go together
Sing with me “ when you’re motiraaaam..what’s your price for flight?

You'll be alright tonight”

Well you see, it's okay to rip-off Pokemon because it's an old franchise! Not Horizon nope, that one should be protected since it's new!
There’s only so many ways you can design a tribal explorer with a bow and red hair in a bio-mechanical post-apocalyptic world mixing lush jungle and futuristic mecha-creatures too.
The whole derivative nature of the art direction is a real shame. The actual creature designs look original, I quite like the look of the fish, the pelican, the giant stag. But it’s the overarching art direction of the whole thing that screams ‘Horizon’ and overpowers what looks like some interesting bio mechanical design work. Which isn’t a concept Horizon has a lock on, but when you’re borrowing the whole look of their main character, their world, their setting, their mechs AND their colour palette, it just screams ‘we care more about the brand-association of ‘we’ve got Horizon at home’ than we do about how our own artists are actually quite good at biomech creature design.’
EDIT: Ah wait. Nvm, carry on!

Hope this comes to Switch 2. It would be a good fit for the platform.
