"selftext": "No matter the game that I play I keep on getting disconnected at random times, sometimes I can play up to 20 minutes, sometimes up to 1 hour and then it happens, sometimes it doesn't even give me an error message, everyone just freezes in position looping their walking animation. I've checked every possible solution such as flushing my DNS, fire wall settings and what not but to no avail. All this started happening when Roblox did that massive shut down, since then this keeps on happening and it's stressing me out. Sometimes it gives me an error saying the account is already playing on this server which is weird. Is there a way to identify the issue via logs? I'm desperate at this point.",

"body": "i am not sure but it maybe caused by the amount of Items That are created by each Farms? which may overwhelm Your pc or maybe lag it? since every item that i know of are Parts so that would mean it takes a lot of space in Folders and idk (btw i'm not that experienced with coding so i don't really know Xd) which your pc may not be able to handle and even when you put it in chest it would maybe still create those issues because it's still in the codes in like variables and stuff.. But that's all a Guess So don't take it seriously lol\n\nBut You can Give me some suggestions tho",

I was in a conversation with someone, and they could've friended me, but I left the game to translate smth, and then when I came back, it restarted me. It just disconnects me so randomly. Then, I could restart the game and continue, but after two times for the same game, no way, I'll leave. I'm not gonna keep starting back at square one again, especially if I was almost at the end, only maybe if I'm near the beginning. But, I have other things to do. Please someone fix this. It ruins the game experience, at least for me. I'm so sick of this already. "body": "I finally fixed it. I recently moved and changed my wifi from spectrum to frontier and got this disconnecting problem. The way i fixed it was by going to the actual wifi box the \"toc\" and unplugging it and replugging it. i only kept crashing in roblox because i was getting constant packet loss. once i stopped it was working"

"body": "hi everyone! i’ve been having the same issue for a few days now, and i called my wifi company i’m under, turns out when i moved the wifi box needed to be updated from the old IP address to the new IP address. I had to take my box to the closest Metro store because it has to be done manually in person. I hope this helps!",

"body": "I found the fix! try connecting to your mobile hotspot or any other network, i contacted roblox and they said its the internet provider issue they are blocking one of their services so try calling them and ask if they can fix it! no its not your pc/laptop i got a new pc and its still happening i got ethernet and wifi and they are both the same"

"body": "2 years later and this problem is still occurring. I will randomly be kicked from games after usually 10-60 minutes of playing due to connectivity issues. The problem never happens to me two times in a row however so normally after rejoining the game I'm safe. However for certain games that teleport you to other games or servers like story games or some fighting games it can be quite annoying. I'm the only one in my friend group with this problem so it only affects very few people. Please someone help!"

At first i always thought it was my computer.. as sometimes the whole thing will freeze and disconnect from the wifi and my roblox disconnects, but other times its not that. "body": "**Try clearing the Roblox cache or running Roblox as an administrator**.Try to temporarily disable your antivirus software, as well as all unnecessary background programs, and see if that fixes Roblox. Try lowering the graphics quality in the Roblox settings, I recommend 3-5 or auto. Hope it helps",

"body": "Ive had this error for a couple months, DNS flush and re-installation doesnt work. After playing for 10 minutes to 2 hours, i get a permenant lag spike of sorts, and even after completely disconnecting roblox still doesnt show me an error message.\n\nI've also had a couple seperate errors, including the loading screen staying for up to 5 minutes after joining, blinding my screen and preventing me from using any GUIs despite still being able to play otherwise, as well as lag spikes happening at random and whenever a player joins the server. This will dedicate all your processing and network power to roblox before anything else.",

Usually on Roblox and other multiplayer games, the connectivity is heavily dependent on storage space you have left, due to the data needing to update CONSTANTLY. I had about 680mb left on my phone earlier when I had the issue, which didn't even let me play any games for as little as 45 seconds. If you just take the time to delete unused files, images and apps, you can stay connected for much longer."

"body": "I'm new to Roblox and been wondering what's up with this, as well. I mainly get annoyed on servers where they have Timer based rewards or bonuses. Sometimes wonder if they have the timers for a reason so people get fed up and just buy stuff for the boosts. Honestly not sure why I still play this Horse Racing game, since it's the most boring game ever. Even the one where you run your own bathroom/ Toilet was more fun. But I swear it feels like they disconnect me just so my bonus experience boost (+1% added per minute you're online up to 100%) gets above around 20%, though I'm sure it's just a coincidence more having to do with the random disconnect times. Thanks so much for posting this thread in the past, I don't feel so alone! It's been driving me crazy. I've gotten so cynical with the world lately I just don't trust anyone, and so many of these games (even REAL games) are all about the micro-transactions. So tired of microtransaction games, but it is what it is. It's just a natural evolution/ trend that was bound to come along eventually for gaming. Just seems rotten because it's also taking advantage of the more impulsive folks (or less sober, lol). I can't believe someone spent 60,000 Robux on the \"My Toilet\" game.... Like... There's no reason to buy anything in that game (except to maybe show appreciation for the humor of the creators). But 60,000 robux?! I feel guilty spending what I've spent on Star Citizen in the past, and even on the mmorpgs of the past. Sorry I'm done rambling now lol..."
