"selftext": "This was a lifesaver so I might as well put it here for easy access.\n\nIf you are having trouble with Voice chat/vc not working, ex. Grey/white mic or mic with exclamation point, and you cant hear and vc anymore. here are some things to help:\n\n1. turn vc on and back off in your privacy settings, (go to account settings > privacy, it should be at the top)\n2. REDO YOUR 2FA (this seems to be the main causing factor for some reason, by switching your 2fa off and back on again it fixes the issue???? if turning off 2fa seems too unsafe I would suggest switching your 2fa to one of the other options and then switching it back.)\n3. uninstall and reinstall (pretty basic, might be an issue with your client, this wont really be applicable if this is happening over multiple different devices)\n4. restart your modem/router (it might be an issue with your router again probably wont be applicable if you are playing on multiple different networks, ex, cellular, or a friends network and still encountering the same issue.)\n5. Contact roblox support (as annoying as this is please do this if nothing else works, it could be an issue on their end.)\n\nI was having this same issue but for me redoing my 2fa fixed the problem immediately. I wanted to make this so you didn't have to go scrolling thru tiktok comments because that's where the most relevant information is for some reason",

"body": "hi! never used reddit so i didnt know where to ask for help...(im sorry for my bad english but im italian). i found out that every player who has +13 yo can use the vocal chat, im 16 and i verified my age with my id, i went through all the required steps but i cant hear other player and use vc. I have already tried all the advice written in this post. now desperate so I tried to log in with another account doing the same thing but it still didn't work. only today I tried to download roblox on my iphone, and there the vc worked (i play from a lenovo laptop connected to a monitor, not I know if this could perhaps be a problem for the vc). does anyone know what the problem could be? thank you..",

"body": "Idk for me my vc just disables? I'll go in privacy and then the option to turn it back on isn't there anymore. I know I haven't been saying anything bad as well.\nIf I make a new account, I can use vc temporarily then it will just disable itself 😞. And now I've reached the max limit of phone numbers u can have connected to an account. I've reinstalled but it's js the same"

"body": "Just saying, you shouldve added 'checking if your up to date for windows update and press download and install if it says it'. None of your options worked for me so i went for this last option of mine"

"body": "For me, it would seem Appdata would be the best way to do so, by deleting and reinstalling roblox it should be fix when you delete the appdata and reinstall it.",
