"body": "Jep I really hope this is just a bug and we can blame it on early access :) \nIf this how ever is not a fixable thing and I would need to start another server then I am scared for the future of Official servers, but yea lets see and wait. Its a game that came out 3 days ago I would be shocked if there would be 0 problems at the start.",

"body": "Try direct connect to the server again if you are using external ip.\n\nI used local ip:port and it connected me to the game. not sure about external ip, can you try that and see how it goes?\n\nIt seems the game currently has trouble remebering server details, I deleted the recent play history, but after joining my server, the new entry still is Unknown status"

"body": "I am having this same issue with my dedicated server. It Just won't allow us to connect. If I try to direct connect I get a connecting out 5 instead of 10, and at 5 it says timed out. Everything indicates that the server is running properly and should be connectable though.",

"body": "I did, somehow. I honestly can't remember how though. The only issue I remember previously was that settings files had been reset, and I needed to reconfigure things, but I don't remember if that was this issue or not I'm afraid, it's been too long for my memory.",

"body": "My issue is I did the port forwarding, changed the names of the server in the files, I edited a couple simple settings, and then I started the batch file and it doesn’t show up in the server list. And when I do the direct connect it starts up with a black screen and never changes. If I try to join through continue it does the Error: Connection timed out. I don’t understand why it’s not working.",

"body": "Its not just your server \\[EU\\] Official #1264 by [G-Portal.com](https://G-Portal.com) has it also \n\n\nI am not sure if this is like the ark survival evolved thing, where all servers need to be manually updated. Which took hours in same cases. If its your private server maybe check in the server version and see if it matches (if you can see it) if it does not then I think you need to wait for the server provider to update there stuff or if they allow manual update",

"body": "Ah. I found that after the update, my config files were reset. Correcting them and setting the proper ports again got it working.",

"body": "I redid the config files for the server from scratch. Since it's dedicated the process was the same as setting them up in the first place."
