After the progress bar reached like 90% it immediatley closed and didnt install anything. I've tried restarting my laptop and downloading another installer but ended up with the same results. what can i do?\n\n​",

"body": "The post from Immediate Avocado does work but if anyone needs an alternative because of any other issues try this (Windows):\n\nDelete any and all files of roblox you already have on your computer then download it again from the official site [https://www.roblox.com/download](https://www.roblox.com/download). It will get stuck again but before it closes press Windows + R. After the download closes, enter %localappdata% into the prompt you opened, go to Roblox -> Versions -> version(bunch of numbers) (If you see 2 open the top one). When you're in this folder make sure you click on \"Robloxplayerlauncher.exe\" and not \"Robloxplayerinstaller.exe\" or the download will just freeze again. If you do that the download should start then continue until its finished.\n\nHopefully this helped!",

Follow the above instructions, then click ROBLOXPLAYERLAUNCHER, not RobloxPlayerInstaller. "body": "Only thing I would note is that it won’t always install in the “Local” folder; sometimes it installs in Program Files. That’s why right clicking on Roblox Studio and opening the file location works for more people."

"body": "I've been seeing this problem for quite some time now. I think the problem is with the installer itself. I did an experiment. I reinstalled the operating system to eliminate the fact that the problem was in the operating system. Then I went to the official website of the Roblox game and tried to install it. During the installation, at some point the installation stops and nothing happens. (I fixed the problem using RobloxPlayerLauncher.exe which was in the game files). I started studying the problem. The next day I uninstalled Roblox and downloaded the installer from the official website. It installed successfully. I compared the old installation file with the new one. They were different in size. About 2 months later I did the same experiment. Result: The installer is broken again, but everything works using RobloxPlayerLauncher.exe.\n\nWhat do you think about this problem?",

For some reason the bar wouldnt make progress and after doing it like 10 times it made some progress and i got the roblox to install itself but this time it was stuck on 30% and i could do anything. "body": "Hey I'm having the same problem too, I'm on Windows 11 and there was no fix for it.\n\nI tried reinstalling studio aswell as roblox's launcher from their website, I also tried restarting my pc, deleting temp files, appdata files, clearing my dns cache, clearing cookies, and even completely reinstalling from a fresh start on my pc.\n\nThey only kinda remote fix I saw that work's is, installing roblox from the microsoft app store. kinda sad because the only app that works atm is the roblox launcher from the microsoft app store. \n\n\n\\*\\*Fix for Roblox Installer & Studio Installer\\*\\*\n\nBUT I have found a fix for the studio installer. When the installer is opened and installing right click the studio icon on the taskbar. > Then right click the top option called \"Roblox\" (it should have a blue logo next to it.) > Click properties > Open File Location. > Now there should be two folders that pop up. both folders should say \"version-.\" > Click the first folder if you want to fix studio, click the second to fix the roblox launcher. Scroll down until you see \"RobloxStudioLauncherBeta.exe\" then open that.\n\nhopefully this helped everyone, if you need any help feel free to reply.",

I've made this account just for this reason, and would like to help everyone stuck. Follow these steps: \n\\*Go to settings \n\\*Go to privacy & security \n\\*Scroll to safe search \n\\*Select \"Off - Don't filter adult content from my web results\" \n\n\nThe Windows security is blocking any unconfirmed download/installation from the Web, selecting this will allow the installation to continue. "body": "Hi Everyone i think i have found a solution for all. \nFirst of all restart your pc if u have tried installing and it didnt work on ur last boot.(so all background installers are not active) \nthen Win+R and type %temp% delete Roblox folder in there then again win+R type %localappdata% and also erase roblox folder(if it says already running then just restart ur and try to erase it) \nthen after all of that clear your recycle bin and install roblox from the normal installer the one it gives u in the site. \nafter it finishes, press win+R and type %localappdata% and navigate to the Roblox folder and then to versions. \nclick on the one with the latest date modified and then navigate to ROBLOXPLAYERLAUNCHER not ROBLOXPLAYERINSTALLER, Run it as adminstrator and wait for it to finish and voila u can play hope it helps.",

"body": "I double click the Roblox thingy, which at this point is Roblox-16.dmg. It opens up a tab thing on my Mac that has the Roblox icon and the thing is labeled RobloxPlayerInstaller. I double click it, and the tab and all other tabs darken a little like my screen is focused on another tab, but no new tab appears. I've been having this problem for about a month now, and have only been able to play Roblox on mobile. Thoughts? Answers? please and thanks",

"body": "sorry if this was posted before but here's what solves it for me: \n\n\n***(INCASE YOU'RE UPDATING, FOLLOW THE FIRST STEP)*** \n1. head to the roblox file in users>(user name)>appdata>roblox and delete it \n2. install roblox via the website then run the installer when it's downloaded \n3. head to the roblox file again (follow above) and go to: \nVersions>version-(something i dont remember) **<--- if multiple, click the most recent one** \n4. run the launcher in the specific version. it should now install normally \n\n\n**IMPORTANT: You'll unfortunately have to repeat this process every update**"

"body": "For me, the comments that talk about %appdata% worked, but not for long. It seems like it's a problem with Windows 11. The easiest long term solution is to downgrade back to Windows 10."

"body": "I am not having this problem with Roblox installer, but not like this. Roblox keeps asking me to download the game when I already had it downloaded. I don't understand why though, I was playing fine a couple of weeks ago and now its been doing this. But here is the problem. It asks me to download so I download it, but when I follow the steps it never loads. Here is an example, I press \"Download & Install Roblox\" and it leads me to some instructions, I follow the instructions and it fails at step 3. Can someone help?
