"title": "Why is Roblox Studio so bad?",
"selftext": "Roblox Studio is terribly unusable recently. I am talking about from a fresh installation, on a fresh installation of Windows. It sucks, half the time in studio is just trying to fix one bug and it's infuriating. At what point do they make QoL changes?\n\nSome of the issues I'm having:\n\n* Sometimes cannot play test the game, I get error code 279 and am forced to restart multiple times.\n* Play testing a team create game sometimes just doesn't replicate changes made\n* Plugins manager literally does not have a working feature. Updating a plugins fails with a 429 Rate limit 80% of the time. Uninstalling the plugin causes it to disappear from the menu for 3 seconds, but then come back at the top under Pending updates. \n* Plugins manager won't always show every single installed plugin, and I have to go find the actual directory the plugin is installed at to delete it.\n* Selecting any more than a few models at times will cause the whole window to not respond\n* Closing studio regularly will cause it to come up with an unrecovered game file the next time it's opened\n* Widgets will not always save their position or closed status on studio restart\n\nI'm sure if I spent more time writing the issues as they occur I would have a longer list. Please someone tell me this isn't only an issue with me. These issues happen on to me on multiple computers that are unrelated to each other.",

But I discovered that you can recreate all these things. Plus all the bugs have work arounds. If you can finish, count yourself fortunate. There are bugs in other engines where you literally cannot finish. Countless bugs."

I've learned don't try to use it in dual screen and learned not to drag and drop stuffs in studio, also don't try to open up too many instances of it, autosave also make you lose mouse focus as well, good luck while you moving some large amount of models in map while it try to autosave.",
