I got my fingers burned with trying to play with hardware around the minimum requirement multiple times so I'd rather ask before going ahead",

              "body": "Playable? Meaning it will launch when you hit play? Yeah, will you have a good time? Most likely not. Then again I'm not sure what the specs of the laptop are. Since you're asking about minimum requirements I'm just assuming it's not super high end. These days minimum requirements mean you're able to launch the game and play it at a buttery smooth 15 fps. Again I'd save your money. Wait a bit. The game will still be there when you come back and hopefully the issues it's having will be resolved."

      "body": "my friend was using an old desktop   I7 970 and said it wouldnt even launch. Not sure what was preventing it. First game that has happened to him on.  He upgraded to a new Ryzen and says HD2 is great.",

              "body": "He said he was getting a \"CPU not supported\" error message. Some googling around finds that the first generation i7s did not support AVX. It seems that Sandy Bridge was the first series of chips to support it.",

                      "body": "I know this is 3 months old but I was searching for info for a friend to see if he can play the game. My main gaming computer is the same age as the i7-970. I am able to play Ark Survival Evolved on it and all its content. I would assume I can't run the Ascended version recently released.  There are lots of games that say minimum support that I can still play with my 14 year old computer.",

      "body": "Idk if you bought it yet but if you haven't I wouldn't recommend it, my PC meets the minimum requirements easily and still just opens the game with 5 fps On the lowest settings possible\nHonestly their \"minimum reqs\" are a scam I can run ark pretty easily where I don't meet the minimum but here where I do Its literally unplayable "

      "body": "I just upgraded my pc form a i5-5600k 4 core to a amd 5700 8 core and bumped my ram up from 2400 to 3200mhz and I have a 1660ti, from the 4 core I got 40fps max and I just upgraded and just checked the fps I changed the graphics to high and nothing has changed and it’s only using less than 20% of my cpu I have the same issue with mw2 idk how to fix it",

      "body": " Okay kids. AVX is an old old instruction set from 2011, you must enable it inside your bios for it to work. This has NOTHING to do with your modern CPU, and everything to do with your Bios settings. The whole development of the game itself is a joke."
