"title": "What do you think about delta force hawk ops?",
"selftext": "Everybody says this game is what Battlefield needs to be but i think that is bullshit. The movement is so clunky, the charakters don’t really do what i want from them all the time and only one guy can slide. Then the Characters itself: there are 4 characters that could be just 2 and it does not help with variety and everything because there are 18384859696439 times the same guys on the battlefield. Also the medic system is shit because everything is so tiny and you can’t really call a medic to you only to through the tiny chat and the healing animations are also clunky and there isn’t even anybody to heal you in the first place because there are only bots in my lobbies. And you are dead after two seconds, and the attachment system is confusing and so on. I know its a beta but it can’t fix all its problems I think. I never played bf 2042 only bf1 and bfV so idk how the state of 2042 is. Do you guys really like delta force and want the battlefield series to go into its way? I would much rather play titles like bf1 or what ive heard of bf4. And i also found a good alternative to delta force i think would be way cooler to get into that way: it’s called scorched earth and is a beta on Roblox. Its wound bad at first but trust me it has nothing to do with roblox AT ALL. Its more like battlebit but in ww2 and with great building and destruction. You can build your own tunnels and trenches and build bunkers over them or lots of sandbags. What do you think about this game? I think it‘s way underapreciated. And what do you like so much on delta force to look over its flaws? Is 2042 really so bad that delta force is so much better? Thanks for reading through all of this :)",

Once EA starts getting hit in the checkbook they’ll start pushing for change. Until then they’re fine with pushing garbage because it still brings in money.",

I haven’t played Delta Force yet, what I’ve seen looks okay but it’s just seems like more of the things I don’t like about 2042 with some improvements things is all (again haven’t played yet just going off of videos and what people have said). All this does is leave a further void in the perfect Battlefield formula that nothing is touching on now. And hopefully someone can fill it sometime soon."

It's made its foundation regarding the gunplay, movement, specialists, etc and from here it's just buffing out all the bugs, fixes, and all that jazz."

So, BF4 and BF1 is enough for me. But BF4 starts to show its age now, especially with graphics. Some maps there do look dated and hard to look at today. But 2042 or this delta force still too far from BF4 and I dont want to play them."

"body": "Before playing DF Alpha, the last time I touched 2042 was last year. So going into the alpha I pretty much forgotten how 2042 feels.\n\nWith that in mind, I did enjoyed it for about a week. Then I went to the subreddit and people were saying this game is better than 2042, so I reinstalled 2042 and... it's not better. It's not even on the same level. The destruction is laughable compared to 2042 and the sound in 2042 in 64 player conquest was more chaotic compared to the new DF conquest mode.\n\nLike after reinstalling 2042, the first game of conquest I got in, all kind of chaotic sound happening around me. The heli, jets, tanks. Then went back to DF and I can't help but feel the environment feels peaceful.\n\nBut... to be fair to Delta force. They made the game for PC with mobile in mind. I doubt Delta force will have as much chaos and destruction as in any BF games (even 2042).\n\nTo summarize, I forgot how playing 2042 feels. Then people compared DF to 2042 claiming it's better... So I reinstalled 2042. Now I can't seem to enjoy Delta Force Havoc Warfare anymore."

{
"body": "Imo the game is far off of where i want battlefield to be. Delta force plays like BF2042 in all the worst ways. The gun play is atrocious, getting beamed from across the map, and what feels like an inconsistent ttk. The maps so far have been pretty awful, the beach map especially being an absolute cluster the entire time. The character design is the same garbage we have seen done in every game for nearly 5+ years and i am over it. Why does every AAA inspired shooter have to be based off in the future with these random uninteresting characters and generic maps? BF3 and BF4 were top tier gameplay, everything from the gunplay to the vehicles felt amazing. No random abilities that cluster the game, good class systems, and good maps. People are hyping this game up because its another ‘battlefield contender’ but to me it feels like a reskin of 2042."

I'm also a very casual player so I'm not really trying to be competitive on any real level. I just want to kill time and have fun. I like Delta Force because it has more of a structure to the combat and you have a general idea of where the other team is."
