      "body": "One thing I noticed about all of the skills is that they all seem to have much higher mana costs as well as critical strike chance in PoE 2 as compared to skills in PoE 1. The Spirit mechanic for reservations explains the mana cost adjustment somewhat, as we'll have our mana available for casting, but I wonder about the crit changes.",

                  "body": "In PoE1,  you're not 'expected' to cap crit by design. The player base have just mathed it out and figured out that in the current state of the game, crits are simply the best scaling vector for most skills.",

                      "body": "'expected' by the build meta, not by game design. Essentially they gave enough sources that getting crit cap is always more powerful than other options in your build. In PoE2 they can either just give less sources to make it unachievable, or make the trade offs weigh more."

          "body": "To throw another layer of complexity into the mix, I believe they stated that each support gem can only be used once across all skills. So if they still exist, crit chance and crit damage might make sense for a specific skill, but maybe won’t be as spammable with higher mana costs. \n\nI’ll be very excited to see if someone is able to get to 100% crit chance with their build in PoE 2 and not need the crit chance support at all."

      "body": "The video is showing firebolt instead of fireball, and is missing the videos of frost wall, lightning warp, lightning conduit and firestorm — I watched **every** footage of PoE 2 that came out so I know they were shown. It's also completely missing Freezing Shards.",

      "body": "My favourite character in rpgs is always the sort of «mage», because of the variety of types of skills they have («magic» can basically be anything). These skills look so good, excited to try it out!"

          "body": "Note that you don't HAVE to buy a supporter pack - the game will still be free to play when it launches, the packs just let you have early access for the beta. They'll likely widen the pool of people in the beta over time."
