"selftext": "I just setup a base near a skill fruit tree and noticed my Knocklem depositing 6 skills fruits (2x of 3 different fruits) from one cycle.\n\nTo find out what was causing this, I tested the following by setting the pal to harvest 1 cycle from 1 fruit tree and found this:\n\nKnocklem (Max Condense) - 6 fruits\nKnocklem (No Condense) - 6 fruits\nVerdash (Max Condense) - 6 fruits\nVanwyrm (No Condense) - 3 fruits\n\nSeems that for some reason the gathering level bonus (level 3 and above providing 2x drop rate) affects skill fruits. So I believe that any transporter with a gathering level 3 or above might be able to do this. Not sure if it is a bug or intended. Also would be interesting to see if this works with eggs.",

"body": "Hello, thank you for this great revelation about skill fruit farming. I had no idea this was possible.\n\nI bred some nocturnal Knocklems to replace my Wixen Nocts/Kattress/Depressos that were previously manning my 4 skill fruit bases.\n\nSo far I have only gotten 2x of a single type of skill fruit from the Knocklems. It's not clear to me if the spawns are staggered for some reason (possibly a delay in the transport time for a level 1 transporter when I'm away from the base?) so I am resetting all of the trees and then will test the Knocklems again. I turned off their work suitabilities to respawn all of the fruits. \n \nHave you run into anything like this before? \n \nI've been farming skill fruits like this for about 6 months and 2-3 months ago I noticed that some of my skill fruit totals on some trees were off -- it almost seemed like I was getting 1 or 4 fruits instead of the full 3. Sometimes I only had 2. \n \nIn other words, I don't think the problem is from the Knocklems or from your strategy. When I first started, all of the fruits were synced up and eventually they have fallen out of sync. \n \nIf you recently started this farming project, you may have not noticed it yet, but there does seem to be an extended delay between skill fruit harvests which only grows with time, at least for level 1 transporters. \n \nI have had this setup with 4 skill fruit bases since Sakurajima came out. Previously I only had 1 but it was at my main base. I did notice some discrepancies back then but not frequently enough to think anything of it. \n \nNow that I have more and have tried your new idea (which is really great btw) I noticed this problem.",

"body": "Hi, just trying to contribute back to the community! I have not run into any issues with my skill fruit trees falling out of sync. The only issue i had was with one of my knocklems being stuck in the river at the skill fruit tree near the knocklem boss which resulted in it being unable to harvest the skill fruits. Could there be a similar pathing issue for your setups?\n\nOne other issue I had was with at my mining base, when I set my day/night time to 5, my nocturnal knocklems no longer had enough time to transfer all the mined ores into storages as the miners slept and so ended up not harvesting the skill fruit trees (I believe this is very low in terms of priority).\n\nIm not entirely sure about the extended delay, I did setup my skill fruit tree farming bases recently so I’ll try to pay attention and see if the fruit respawn starts getting longer. Thanks for raising that point of concern.\n\nOther than that, I can’t say I have run into any other issues. Could you detail your skill fruit base farming setup?",

My skill fruit farming base setup is. 2x refined metal chest (tho I know sakurajima skill fruit trees only spawn 37 diff fruits), 1x luxury bed (even tho the pal is nocturnal, just in case), 1x high quality hot spring (to restore san) and 1x food box with pizza",

Hopefully this helps.\n\nAlso forgot to mention I tested Wumpo (No Condense) and it gave 3 fruits as well",

Only just getting around to testing OP's revelation after reading it a few days ago."
