"title": "Theory crafting the most powerful player character using Pal passives as global boosts.",
"selftext": "Hi All, so today I started to wonder about all the games passives. \n\nAs you may know, any passive on a Pal that effects the player, effects you even if they are not active. So if you had 5 Vanguard, 5 Stronghold Strategist Pal's, you would indeed gain 50% attack and defence. \n\nYou can also stack Motivational leader, which means you can give yourself 125% boost to crafting (yes it is crafting speed). For those who did put points here, you can outspeed a maxed out Anubis for crafting. (this also works for five mining or lumber boosts) \n\n4 Ice Wumbo's at level 5 condensed means +640 max carry weight. \n\nWith one main to use as your fighter/defender or to use as your miner, or just a travel mount with swift/runner/Vanguard/Stronghold Strategist Direwolf or flyer. \n\nWith this setup:\n\n+640 Carry Weight\n+50% Attack Damage\n+50% Defence Total\n+100% Crafting (Most likely using a speed mount for travel)\n+100% Mining Speed\n\nCan we do better?",

"body": "True, you could also add an element, so if you went for a flyer who adds a damage type you could use that to go everywhere and ride it for combat. \n\nI just before combatting with the Direhowl due to its size and speed, makes it rather easy to still dodge and run about while hitting your targets. \n\nBut I could see a max condensed element attack extremely useful for many boss fights that are weak to that element. \n\nYou would have to learn essentially which one is the best increase. I hear Dragon damage can be good for some end game bosses, so even Chillet here would work, and Chillet is very adorable so extra bonus win.\n\nEdit: Also just remember Vanwyrm, which just gives you more damage on every single weak spot hit."

Just a ton of extra damage for riding mounted. \n\nReading up on it, its even a flying mount? oh sweet. You could do quite a bit of damage and use it to go all over the map. \n\nAwesome.",

"body": "It’s like the second fastest flight mount in the game and pretty awesome. \n\nA lot of early game guides seem to say invest in anything but attack stat wise but man I’m testing something right now that attack just seems so good at endgame. A lot of hard hitting pal skills have long cooldowns and I do a lot more damage personally with legendary weapons, ATK stats and boosts and pals that change element of my attacks that don’t have any cooldowns. Since ammo effectively free using ore>ingots>nails>sell>buy ammo the legendary crossbow/bow/pistol/assault rifle does serious work.\n\nThere is a bug with one pal though I’ve noticed. Warsect. The description says it makes your attacks fire based. It doesn’t it actually gives you fire resist up.\n\nFrostallions are amazing tho. Mounted all you attacks are frost and get the +100% damage. You absolutely chunk any dragon.",

"body": "I've seen some of those \"guides\" suggest investing only into health and nothing else. \n\nThey have characters with over 2k health but no weight/atk/stam Then say \"this is how you do it\" as if to justify themselves. \n\nPersonally, I hit 1k weight, 200 stam, doubled my work speed with 2 levels and a few into health and the rest have gone into attack. \n\nGetting that up and then also including a 50% boost means you can not only already outdps Pal's without it but now are almost/close to doubling your own damage. Add something like this mount into the mix and you essentially break the game really. \n\nBut yet they are all llike \"nah mate invest everything into health\" \n\nBy the sounds of it, I got a lot of playing to do as my flying mount experience so far is nightwing into Vanwyrm and not further haha, onto experimenting!",

"body": "Honestly when respec comes out im dropping health. 0 work speed as pals certainly do this better. \n\nHealth and defence I just get from armour.\n\nI’ll be respecting to around 800-1000 weight, 250 stam seems to be the sweet spot right now.\n\nThe rest ATK.\n\nTested stuff last night with 4 gobfin and a flying mount that adds elemental and attack up. Melted an endgame boss in under a minute.",

"body": "Oh i've not tested them yet, would be better for combat for sure over being able to go on longer mining trips. \n\nWas already thinking that you'd only need to put into attack 17 levels worth with 5 vanguards to make your attack stat 201%, causing you to basically always crit with every attack, and of course do 4x damage to targets weak to your element that the pal gives you, combined with the already 50% boost to elemental damage that some end game pals give when mounted... \n\nEdit: I just tested it, and its actually another 10% so a team of 4 vanguard Gobfins would give you a 80% boost to your attack.... hah... Combine that with the legendary assault rifle and Pretty sure the legendary pals in the game should flee in fear",
