"title": "PSA: Cross-job Passive Skills",
"selftext": "I’ve seen a lot of people struggling with the final boss of Karenoid because of its massive magic damage and I thought it would be worth mentioning there are two passive bonuses on each job that carry over to every other job regardless of what you have equipped. Each job has 1 on their second set of skills and one on their third, its the circular node with the extra fancy script around it. You can confirm which you have unlocked on the job selection wheel. They’re all quite helpful but Mage, Pilgrim, and [spoiler] each have Magic Resist +20% as one of their cross-job passives so if you find yourself getting one-shot by those magic explosions a little grinding to get all three should help tremendously.",

"body": "Can someone please explain what button you hit to activate the use of the CPS on the Nintendo switch lite? For example, if I'm in battle and have jobs selected that do have a passive skill, does it automatically just happen or do I have to hit or push a special button to make sure it's happening? This is my first combat style game so I'm very new to all of this. Please help! I really appreciate it.",

"body": "You don’t have to activate your passive skills. As soon as you switch to a job in combat, its passive skills become active. And as somebody said, the flowery node passive skills are always active regardless of which job you’re switched to at any given moment as long as it’s from one of the 3 jobs you have equipped on your character."
