"body": "Edit: Steam Guide will have the most up to date information: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3221409140\n\nSee new version here: https://www.reddit.com/r/VampireSurvivors/s/8LGc8gOXRB\n\nThis is a revised version of a Vampire Survivors Character Tier List I made 2 weeks ago. This one is based on much of the feedback I received there as well as on the Vampire Survivors Discord. Much more testing was also done on many characters to determine strength and weaknesses. Overall about 50 additional hours, stacked onto my several hundred hours of existing game experience, were put into this tier list.\n\nThis Character Tier List assumes you have unlocked **ALL** items, characters, Power Ups, and Stages. Although “Starter” and “Beginner” characters are mentioned, that is not the overall focus of this tier list. If you are new to the game or have not unlocked everything, many of the higher ranked characters are either out of your reach or require additional game knowledge to be ranked where they are. All character rankings and reasons are explained below and on my Google Spreadsheet.\n\nGoogle Spreadsheet: [https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1GBF7kuzq9PDLiHbXDSHfSLM6xqDqqMYYjBCsRCZcF-A/edit?usp=sharing](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1GBF7kuzq9PDLiHbXDSHfSLM6xqDqqMYYjBCsRCZcF-A/edit?usp=sharing)\n\nThe Spreadsheet will have the most current versions of my tier lists. I make changes as more information is found or new content gets added to the game. Use the tabs to navigate to each page.\n\nAs always, I value FEEDBACK on any erroneous character placements, but please explain WHY you believe the placement is wrong. Ultimately, while my own personal biases are present, I want a quick reference that players can look at to understand a general strength comparison of characters.\n\n**Ranking Reasons**\n\nThis Tier List looks at the following factors in order of priority: Damage, Survivability, Versatility, Ease Of Use, Stage Specific Strengths. I try to grade on a curve and compare things to each other, not just in isolation. That means that most will fall in the middle and few will be on the top or bottom.\n\nMost importantly, I place a lot of value on how strong the character is at higher levels, e.g. 50, 100, 200, 300, 400+, both how easily can they reach those levels and how many enemies are they able to kill at those levels when compared to other characters.\n\nCharacters are ordered within the Tier. So if a character is at the top of B Tier, they are much better than a character at the bottom of B Tier, but not enough to move to A Tier.\n\n**S - Extremely Powerful:** Unmatched by other characters in what they do. These characters win games and have the easiest time building the most overpowered builds imaginable.\n\n**A - Powerful Scalers, Stats, and Abilities:** These are characters that start the game strong, are hard to kill, and can scale their stats infinitely into the hundreds or thousands of levels before minute 30.\n\n**B - Good Stats, Abilities, and Builds:** Strong characters that are versatile and can scale their damage and survive really well the longer the game goes on. These characters often lack the infinite scaling potential of A and S Tiers.\n\n**C - Basic, Average, Not Special, Not Bad:** These characters generally don't do anything particularly special, but don't have notable downsides to playing them either. Characters in this tier that do have major downsides, have a benefit that is able to compensate for it. With nearly every character in C Tier, another character in a tier above can do what they do better.\n\n**D - Weak Starts and underwhelming:** These characters are NOT necessarily bad, but fall behind many of the characters above them for one reason or another. The main culprit is having a terrible starting weapon or weak passives. Like C Tier, other characters can just do what they do better.\n\n**F - Exdash:** Worst Character, kind of a meme placing only them here, but no other character is at their level of suck.\n\nAgain Link To Spreadsheet: [https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1GBF7kuzq9PDLiHbXDSHfSLM6xqDqqMYYjBCsRCZcF-A/edit?usp=sharing](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1GBF7kuzq9PDLiHbXDSHfSLM6xqDqqMYYjBCsRCZcF-A/edit?usp=sharing)",

"body": "**Characters**\n\n**S Tier -------------------------------------------------------**\n\n* **Sammy:** \\- The combination of starting with Vicious Hunger, gaining levels from coins, and healing using Disco of Gold cannot be overstated. With the recent update fixing Sammy's framerate issues, he can now safely dominate games by Limit Breaking Vicious Hunger and turning everything into gold, healing, and experience. As long as you grab Disco of Gold first, you can level and kill things infinitely (or until your game crashes). Make sure to also grab Sarabande of Healing and Wicked Season for your other Arcana. Use Silent Old Sanctuary for solo Vicious Hungers.\n* **Queen Sigma:** The Queen! She has stats for days, gains 1% Might and Growth each level, starts with a strong weapon, gets a Candybox from the Merchant, and gets 4 Arcana while leveling up in addition to the normal 3 one gets in a game. She is unmatched in her starting power and leveling potential. Her only downside is she can make the game too easy (sounds like a good problem to have).\n* **Scientist Mina:** The best stat scaler in the game, gains 1% Might, Area, Speed, Duration, Recovery, Growth, Luck, Greed, Curse, or Move Speed per level up to a total of 5% points. Characters make A tier for infinite scaling potential, Scientist Mina is better than all of them. The only downside is her weapon, which may be annoying to use.\n* **Je-Ne-Viv:** Extremely strong character with an overpowered passive. Je-Ne-Viv starts with high stats, an innate unique weapon, Insatiable, triggers vacuum on level up, and triggers World Eater upon taking fatal damage and every 6 levels killing everything around it and eating the map itself. Its starting weapon also evolves into one of the most powerful weapons in the game, Ophion. Finally it gains 1% Might and Curse scaling per level.\n\n**A Tier ------------------------------------------------------**\n\n* **Megalo Menya Moonspell:** Amazing character with great stats and the strongest defensive passive, damage immunity. While immunity to damage seems like it should land her an immediate spot on S, most characters in S and A Tier are already extremely hard to kill. Plenty of B Tier characters likewise, can easily not die. Despite her high starting stats and innate 108 Bocce, the main thing that holds her back is she doesn't get any infinite stat scaling like other characters in S Tier and A Tier. Her Time Limit also sours anyone wanting to kill the Reaper or do an Endless run, further limiting what she can do. Like other characters with innate weapons, she is fully customizable when you start a game.\n* **Smith IV:** Starts out with extremely low health, but if you are able to survive Smith scales extremely high and becomes a powerhouse at later levels. Starts with the weapon union Vandalier, it is not great, but better than most base weapons. Use the Divine Bloodline Arcana, Awake Arcana, and revives to help survive.\n* **Avatar Infernas:** Extremely strong at the start of the game and has strong scaling passive bonuses that make him better the higher his level. Starts with the Heart of Fire arcana which can pair well with Hellfire, Greatest Jubilee, and Luminaire to fill the screen with explosions. Picking items like Clock Lancet or Laurel will make it impossible for him to get damaged once his Cooldown Reduction maxes out. The downside is he gets 2% speed per level, which makes him hard to control.\n* **Gains Boros:** Starts with a decent evolved weapon and gains 2% Growth per level, allowing for the second fastest level behind a Growth stat Scientist Mina.\n* **Cosmo Pavone:** Starts with two innate bird weapons. This character has and gains a massive amount of recovery that makes it nearly impossible to kill after you get past Cosmo's early game weakness. Pairs well with Awake,Sarabande of Healing, and Divine Bloodline. Since Cosmos has fully open weapon slots, they are highly customizable. Also the best character for doing a full item run if you are a masochist.\n* **Megalo Syuuto Moonspell:** Starts with high stats and gets scaling Might. His starting weapon and evolution aren't that great, but his stats more than make up for it.\n* **Syuuto Moonspell:** Transforms into Megalo Syuuto Moonspell once Summon Night Evolves into Echo Night, making him two characters in one. If you are able to evolve Echo Night early enough, he can be a slightly better version of Megalo Syuuto Moonspell due to having an unslotted Night Sword.\n* **Menya Moonspell:** Good starting stats and can get invincibility and a massive stat boost at certain kill thresholds for 30 seconds. She also starts with one of the best base weapons that turns into one of the best weapons in the game overall. When you get a good enemy kill count going it is possible to stay within her boosted form for several minutes at a time. While boosted she is a much stronger character than Megalo Menya Moonspell.\n* **Luminaire Foscari:** Triggers Rosary on level up and gets a massive stat boost upon reviving that gets longer the more she is revived. Definitely want to grab the Awake Arcana on her as she starts with 7 Revivals and can get a total of 15 at one time with the proper items, which if you able to kill yourself causes a massive boost to her stats. Her starter weapon Prismatic Missile is also really good. Since she triggers Rosary on level up, you will want to focus on builds that maximize experience gains.\n* **Random:** Has one of 8 names that determine level up stats. Cannot benefit from Chaos in the Dark Night, Boogaloo of Illusions, and Lost & Found Painting. Can start with any base weapon. Gets a small amount of all stats at level up that is generally positive, allowing this character to grow stronger slowly. Keep in mind, it is possible to lose stats on level up as well. In my opinion Chalanda, Mi Kujino, or Titto are the best names to use.\n* **Rose De Infernas:** Starts with a really powerful weapon that heals her and has a unique passive of +100 Charm that will increase enemy spawns by 100% without additional health and damage like Curse. Does start with a Might and Growth malus, but the strong weapon more than compensates for that. Because she spawns more enemies than any other characters she can gain a lot of experience and make exceptional use of weapons like Sole Solution and Ashes of Muspell.\n* **Mask of the Red Death:** High starting stats and a great weapon, but no innate stat scaling. This makes Read Death fall behind other characters that have infinite scaling.\n* **Scorej-Oni:** Can get up to 6 additional hidden Lightning Rings which allows for a lot of damage across the screen. Decent starting stats.\n* **Megalo Impostor Rina:** A stronger version of Imposter Rina with a permanent large buff to Movement Speed, Health, and Might. Doesn't get the invincibility that Imposter Rina gets during their boosted state, but gets 6 hidden Spiked Tongue weapons that allows for a lot of damage.\n* **Impostor Rina:** Starts with a decent weapon and has good base stats, but its evolution isn't that good. Gets a massive boost to Might, Movement Speed, and Cooldown Reduction during certain kill thresholds. Is invincible during the boost mode and can chain the boosted stat if you kill enough.\n* **Pugnala Provola:** Great character that starts with two weapons that union and gets level scaling Might. Probably the best beginner-type character you can unlock early.",

"body": "**B Tier -----------------------------------------------**\n\n* **Maruto Cuts:** Extremely good weapon and passives that become overpowered when using Divine Bloodline. However, his passives don't help with that significantly, which is why he isn't higher. He is carried by his overpowered weapon, which any other character can get. Gets an Academy Badge at level 30.\n* **Babi-Onna:** This character changes the way you have to play, but once you learn it is extremely rewarding. She ignores Cooldown Reduction and triggers weapons whenever she \"vogues\" as she moves. This means you should build her using powerful weapons with slow cooldowns like Gorgeous Moon and Godai Shuffle. Giving her speed will allow her to spam screen wiping weapons with ease. This character requires movement to be good, she cannot stand still.\n* **Space Dude:** The double firing of weapons can trigger really fast with a lot of Cooldown Reduction. Starting weapon starts a bit weak, but gets stronger fast and evolves into one of the highest damaging weapons in the game.\n* **Ghost Lino:** A fun character that like Megalo Menya Moonspell is immune to damage and ends the run at the Time Limit, unfortunately for us Ghost Lino cannot deal direct damage due to a permanent -100% Might modifier. This immediately makes most weapons completely useless on them. Sarabande of Healing, Divine Bloodline, or Blood Astronomia are immediately required for them to deal damage. After which you are limited in the weapons you are able to take, making it difficult to beat the damage output of most characters in B Tier and above. Again a fun character, but the damage immunity doesn't fully make up for the inability to deal direct damage. Can also pass through walls.\n* **Miang Moonspell:** Her increased recovery, starting weapon, and passive health increases allows her to focus on a self-healing play style. This allows her to have great survivability, but her weapon and others that complement that playstyle deal moderate damage.\n* **Eleanor Uziron:** Has easy access to one of the strongest weapons in the game, Spellstrom, has good passives and gets an Academy Badge at level 30.\n* **Genevieve Gruyère:** Has the powerful World Eater passive and starts with the base item for one of the best weapons in the game, but unlike Je-Ne-Viv does not get stat scaling. Grabbing the Awake Arcana and Tiragisu can give her the equivalent of 14 lives.\n* **She-Moon Eeta:** Can become nearly unkillable with high healing due to her critical health screenwide freezing passive. Her weapon isn't that great, but you can build unique freezing builds with it.\n* **Shapeshifter Nino:** Has a unique passive where he can self-heal from dropped body parts and change forms. Some of the forms also do area damage. Starts with a weak weapon, but can generally survive past it thanks to its passive.\n* **MissingN▯:** Has a large range of stats it randomizes, can be one of the best starting characters in game or the worst. Can potentially roll negative Health and be invincible, but it can also roll stats that break your ability to play like -100% Growth or Curse. There is also a bias that some of its stats have a higher chance of being better or worse than the base stats. Due to being able to view stats before start, this character can be good, but you can spend a lot of time rerolling its stats. Make sure that Death Spiral is the starting weapon and not Axe. Also will almost always be slow or have controls reversed.\n* **Toastie:** The most difficult character to survive early game, but if you can make it to level 100 and 200, you'll be greatly rewarded with massively increased health and armor and capable of tanking hits from the Reaper. The Divine Bloodline and Awake Arcana are essential when trying to survive.\n* **Crewmate Dino:** Gets a random stat boost when you fully level an item, this incentivizes full weapon builds and weapons that are Unions or from the Emergency Meeting DLC. The stat increases are noticeable, often better than a single level on a passive item. The best stat boost available is to Cooldown Reduction, which has a 1 in 11 chance of occurring.\n* **Leda:** Starts with a decent evolved weapon and a lot of stats. Most notably 100% Might.\n* **Minnah Mannarah:** Starts with a mid-evolution weapon, allowing them to get Fuwalafuwaloo without wasting a passive on Hollow Heart. Passive stat changes can create two distinct \"modes\" that you can play around with for great results. Their weapon gives them incredible sustain and makes them really hard to kill early game.\n* **Zi'Assunta Belpaese:**\tHas good stat scaling. Starting weapon isn't that good, but you can build it into Fuwalafuwaloo. One of the best characters you can get when you are new to the game. You have to keep moving to make her weapon work well.\n* **Poppea Pecorina:** Gets one of the best base weapons in the game to start with and gets scaling Duration each level.\n* **Christine Davain:** Pentagram can be hard to manage if you are not used to it, but this character provides a whopping -25% Cooldown Reduction, which is the highest of non-scaling characters. This allows her to use stronger weapons more often.\n* **Iguana Gallo Valletto:** Starts with several good stats and gets Growth every 5 levels up to a max of 50%.\n* **Giovanna Grana:** Gatti Amari can easily be the strongest base weapon in the game, but can be bad to start with. She does get infinite Projectile Speed that can allow her to fully utilize weapons like Runetracer to clear screens.\n* **Suor Clerici:** Super high area at level 1, and starts with a good weapon. Makes her an extremely good choice for the Game Killer Arcana.\n* **Porta Ladonna:** Starts with a decent weapon and a flat 30% area. Super strong Cooldown Reduction at level 1, making her one of the best users of Game Killer.\n* **Sir Ambrojoe:** One of a group of projectile characters that gain +1 Amount every 20 levels up to +3. Has one of the best starting weapons of the projectile characters group due to the defensive potential and high damage of the falling furniture. Unlike the other projectile characters he starts with +10 Amount at level 1, that goes down to 0 by level 6 before increasing again. This makes him a great user of Game Killer. He has starts with extra Magnet, Luck, and Greed.",

{
"body": "**C Tier --------------------------------------------------**\n\n* **Boon Marrabbio:** Starts with a good evolved weapon, has an interesting mechanic of firing projectiles backwards until you invest in Projectile Speed, however the backwards firing only works when you have both the Projectile Speed and Omni Power Ups disabled, otherwise he just throws slow projectiles. Disabling Omni is not recommend, so this turns him into a character with a strong starting weapon that fires slowly.\n* **Peppino:** The Don't Move Challenge character. Starts with Soul Eater, one of the worst evolved weapons, but still a strong starting weapon. Can move with Power Up Speed, and the Wings passive item. Notably starts with 100% additional Magnet, which it will definitely use. Mad Groove is very necessary if you want stage items.\n* **Gyorunton:** Really good starting stats, but starts with a bad weapon. Also gains Curse per level with no other stats. A big benefit of Gyorunton is that they can find weapon evolutions in any chest. This can allow them to evolve weapons, like their starting weapon, really fast.\n* **McCoy-Oni:** His area increases and decreases every few seconds, which can provide a big boost to area damage weapons like Garlic, Santa Water, and King Bible.\n* **Bat Robbert:** Tanky character that can be difficult to kill, but his starting weapon isn't good and there is a cap on his health increase.\n* **Divano Thelma:** Pretty decent defensive character that starts with Laurel. Gains 1 armor per 5 levels up to 5 additional Armor total.\n* **Dommario:** Starts with a good defensive weapon in King Bible and gets a big 40% Projectile Speed and Duration to start with.\n* **Poe Ratcho:** Has meme level of infamy in the community, decent starting character with Garlic, but nothing special about his stats.\n* **Imelda Belpaese:** One of the few characters with passive Growth. It isn't much, but it is still a good stat. Her starting weapon is good for early levels, as is its evolution, but it falls off in performance compared to other weapons as the game goes on.\n* **Pasqualina Belpaese:** Decent starting weapon, unimpressive passive.\n* **Big Trouser:** One of the most talked about characters. For gold farming he is S Tier, but for this Tier List that measures damage and survivability, making money doesn't help him live, especially without Eggs. He has no combat stat bonuses and his biggest benefit is that he can pick any weapon he wants. Since he starts with any weapon he wants, his build potential is a blank canvas. He can do any build, but he won’t be the best character for that build.\n* **Gennaro Belpaese:** A character that seems strong when you're new to the game, but having only a single +1 Amount makes him unable to compare to other characters that just offer more.\n* **Lama Ladonna:** Starts were a decent weapon, gains Might, Movement Speed, and Curse up to level 30.\n* **Mortaccio:** One of a group of projectile characters that gain +1 Amount every 20 levels up to +3. Evolves their weapon at level 80.\n* **O'Sole Meeo:** One of a group of projectile characters that gain +1 Amount every 20 levels up to +3. Evolves their weapon at level 80.\n* **Yatta Cavallo:** One of a group of projectile characters that gain +1 Amount every 20 levels up to +3. Evolves their weapon at level 80.\n* **Engineer Gino:** Weak starting weapon and their passive bonus aren't good. A passive item in the early levels just fills out the passive items faster. He does get additional Rerolls and Banishes which can help target specific builds.\n* **Antonio Belpaese:** Basic early game character. Okay starting weapon. Simple passive bonuses. Acts as a baseline for most other characters.\n* **Arca Ladonna:** Basic early game character. Poor starting weapon. Other characters have better versions of their passive bonuses, but Cooldown Reduction is still really good. Start with Heart of Fire if you want to live.\n* **Krochi Freetto:** Gets a few extra revives and starts with a mediocre weapon.\n\n**D Tier ---------------------------------------------**\n\n* **Gav'Et-Oni:** One of a group of projectile characters that gain +1 Amount every 20 levels up to +4. Starting weapon is really bad, but at least it evolves to be usable.\n* **Concetta Caciotta:** Starts with the Shadow Pinion, one of the worst weapons in the game. She gets infinite area scaling, which can stack with Boogaloo of Illusions, but it does not make up for her starting weapon.\n* * Upon further evaluation Concetta should be in low B-Tier next to Giovannia.\n* **Keitha Muort:** Flash Arrow is not a great starting weapon on its own, you will want to grab Iron Blue Will to make it better at killing enemies. If you can overcome the Flash Arrow weakness she has decent starting stats and with scaling Luck can go for critical hit builds. Grabbing a 108 Bocce early would be especially good since it scales with the difference between Luck and Curse.\n * * Upon further evaluation Keitha should be in low B-Tier next to Giovannia.\n* **Guardian Pina:** Weak and unreliable starting weapon and unremarkable stats. It is a good thing they can walk through walls, as you'll need to do that to survive. Starting weapon's evolution Clear Asteroid is a good weapon though.\n* **Horse:** One of a group of projectile characters that gain +1 Amount every 20 levels up to +4. Starting weapon is really bad. If you want their passive bonuses, pick someone else.\n* **Rottin'Ghoul:** One of a group of projectile characters that gain +1 Amount every 20 levels up to +4. Starting weapon is really bad. If you want their passive bonuses, pick someone else.\n* **Bianca Ramba:** Bad starting weapon, has the same stats as the other +1 Amount per 20 levels characters. If you want her passive bonuses, pick someone else.\n\n**F Tier ------------------------------------------**\n\n* **Exdash Exiviq:** Low stats and starts with a weak weapon. Easily the worst character in the game outside of a bad stated Missing N.",

"body": "Those weapons are hidden and don't count as a weapon slot. You have to maximize Cosmos' strengths.\n\nCosmos is the only character that gains infinite Recovery and Revives. So pair Cosmos with Arcana like Awake, Sarabande of Healing, and Divine Bloodline. If using Awake try to die as early as soon as possible, because eventually Cosmos will out-heal any damage. Also Cosmos wipes the screen every time it dies, so dying early allows for a massive boost of experience when Cosmos kills everything.\n\nWith infinite scaling Luck Cosmos can get a bunch of extra weapons from Chests using Candyboxes, which can make them the best non-Limit Break character (if you are looking for a challenge haha).\n\nHere is a mock-up build: https://danmer.github.io/vs-build-planner/#cosmo,garlic,prism,pentagram,wind,scan,seasons,growth,cooldown,might,area,recovery,torrona,minighost,revival,arcana4,arcana13,arcana6,arcana15",

"body": "I agree they could be higher in the right hands. At one point I had both next to Giovanna Grana (who has similar issues) in B Tier, but their early game was just so rough I placed them back in D Tier. They have good stats, but for me Shadow Pinion still feels too much like a dead weapon. The movement requirements for Shadow Pinion and Valkyrie Turner are too jarring to use properly. Flash Arrow is more manageable, but you essentially have to take Iron Blue Will to survive, or ignore it like you might Shadow Pinion. The existence of Boogaloo of Illusions and Wicked Seasons, don't help either of their cases for their scaling stats.",

"body": "Since I used Concetta to complete the majority of the base game after I unlocked her, I'm obligated to argue in her defense.\n\nI find that Concetta works the best when you limit yourself to one or maybe two weapons if you want to use the laurel. Starting the game with the silent old sanctuary arcana really helps her survive the early waves, as I find that the biggest weakness of the pinions is having gaps between the projectiles for enemies to slip through.\n\nLeveling the bracers early on is also very beneficial. Increasing projectile speed makes the pinions drift away from you, allowing you to just run in circles and form a wall of pinions to protect yourself against larger enemy waves.\n\nI think one of the reasons people rate shadow pinion so low is they don't realize that you don't HAVE to shoot them out. Sometimes it's better to simply run around and let the lingering pinions do the work. I honestly think it's the most versatile weapon in the game when you have all the powerups active. At the end of the day, I guess it's just a matter of whether or not you actually enjoy the extra movement requirements.\n\nNot to mention, I think valkyrie turner is one of the most powerful limit break weapons. Once it has enough area, amount, duration, and cooldown, it basically turns into a better la borra when standing still.",

"body": "i am so happy to see another pinion enjoyer! over a year ago i posted [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/VampireSurvivors/comments/zyixdd/shadow_pinion_is_op_read_comment_for_more/) video to the subreddit after being requested for one to showcase pinion, because it's one of my favorite weapons in the game. certainly the most unique, which i guess is why so few enjoy it. i recently started a new VS save on my phone in coming back to the game and noted two things: 1), the not-shooting strategy that you mentioned being very strong, and 2), it probably has the highest single-target damage in the *entire* game outside stuff like victory sword and some dlc weapons, but that's a pretty huge niche to have. i personally used it to melt the Ender on Capella Magna on the new save, and it really is nutty when used to focus fire. in my experience i don't find that SOS is *that* required, but i've also never done a run with particularly high curse using it alone, so perhaps my opinion would change then.\n\nalso happy to see that u/Bioness seems to have moved Concetta up a couple tiers, *thank god*, because i probably would have made a similar comment to yours if you hadn't made the argument already. where she's at right now is great, i think, though i despised using Keitha because flash arrow is so inflexible, but i understand the two of them being together, and D tier was *way* too low previously. really appreciate the effort OP!"
},
{
"body": "Thanks for the thorough perspective!\n\nI can concede that I placed her and Keitha too low. You're right, hating how a weapon functions doesn't mean it can't be good. I do like the suggestion of never firing off Shadow Pinion, that was something I knew I could do, but I think I always felt impatient and that the weapon wasn't doing enough when I just let it sit.\n\nI was able to get some more games in after u/superbeansimulator's comment using Concetta and Keitha and found them pretty usable once I got more use to their weapons and playstyle.\n\nI made updates on the spreadsheet moving them both to low B tier. Although I can't reload this image, when I next make one (probably will wait for the next DLC) they will be in a more suitable ranking.",
"replies": [
{
"body": "To be fair, it could probably be argued that they deserve a lower ranking due to their harsh learning curve that makes it difficult to use them at the start.\n\nOther than that, I agree with your tier list for the most part, except for MAYBE three other characters that could be bumped up a tier or two. Those being Space Dude, Porta Ladonna, and Boon Marrabbio.\n\nSpace Dude - The fact that he can throw out more attacks than anyone else even at the max cooldown value of -95% via paranormal scan seems pretty insane to me. Especially since it works with basically every weapon unlike Babi-Onna's gimmick which only really benefits from having a few long cooldown weapons. I haven't studied the actual numbers though so maybe it's not actually that impressive in practice.\n\nPorta Ladonna - Just because you can select the game killer arcana at the start of the round to keep his -95% cooldown bonus. If you manage to find a candybox and get a laurel to level 6 at least, at -95% cooldown the laurel recharges fast enough to make you invincible. I've used this set up in Mt. Moonspell where you can pick up both spinach and duplicator to create the ultimate reaper slaying build. I ended up killing each reaper in under a minute, before the next one could even spawn. Based on how you're ranking characters though, I'm not sure something like that would matter much.\n\nBoon Marrabbio - You can do some unique things with Boon if you play around with the powerups until his projectile speed is at exactly -100%. Having projectiles that don't move at all allows you to create giant mounds of weapons that obliterate enemies who try to approach. I haven't played around with him in a while, so I'm not sure which weapons work the best with this strategy, but it could be fun to look into. I think I remember Carrello being pretty good, since the carts aren't actually bouncing off the sides of the screen, they don't despawn unless you walk far away from them. Plus, for some reason carrello has a surprisingly large pool limit of 50, so you can stack a lot of minecarts in one spot. I guess the downside would be that the moment you increase projectile speed even a little, the build is ruined. That means limit break for many weapons isn't viable."

This may not be an issue for someone with a god tier computer but for my gaming rig I get more gold per min/hour with trouser than Sammy or Queen by a wide margin, and still gets that infinite greed scaling (which is also damage and healing scaling with the disco build)\n\nHe also starts with a combo piece so you can get it together and started more easily and his passive longer discos makes it more reliable if you're afk for like 12 hours at work or something.\n\nC tier seems criminal for that reason\n\njust a thought",

"body": "I understand, which is why I put this regarding Trouser.\n\n>Big Trouser: One of the most talked about characters. He can do any build, but he won’t be the best character for that build.\n\nThis tier list isn't for gold farming. Trouser is only able to do everything you said when he has a lot of Golden Eggs. The title of this tier list explicitly says it is with 0 Eggs.",

{
"body": "Divine Bloodline is an interesting one. It is probably the best Arcana, but I don't think the benefits Robbert or Divano provide it are significant enough over the baseline that any character can get from using Divine Bloodline. \n\nToastie would be the best user of Divine Bloodline with their +9998 Health and +65520 Armor, but you have to work to get them to that point.\n\nI would also point out that the increasing Might you see from Divine Bloodline is purely visual and increases by +1% for every flat damage you gain, it isn't actually Might.",

"body": "There are also other weapon combinations that other characters in higher tiers complement that work just as good or even better than Limit Breaking Divine Bloodline. 11 out of the 21 characters in S and A Tier are DLC, and 7 out of top 10 B-Tiers are DLC.\n\nI will say your information is out of date then. The reason those characters don't matter as much for for Divine Bloodline is due to this:[https://vampire-survivors.fandom.com/wiki/Legionnaire](https://vampire-survivors.fandom.com/wiki/Legionnaire)\n\nAny character can get it, requires Amor to evolve, and rapidly increases your health faster than Robbert situational health gain and faster than the armor Divano provides to be useful. Dex makes a lot of click-bait title names his \"Most Broken\" combo was beaten by Legionnaire + Divine Bloodline in a previous video of his 2 months before the one you posted:\n\n[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=quxsrooWVjM](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=quxsrooWVjM)\n\nFor vanilla, I can definitely see where you are coming from, but when you consider all the DLC those two don't match up."

The character is ranked in A Tier, because they gain stats per level (usually) and those stat buffs add up significantly over time.
